Workshops + Classes

Teaching & Community

Our grand gathering room is an open airy room that is a calming space perfect for workshops and classes. When you rent our space you'll get full access to both our indoor & outdoor spaces and access to our storage room that has chairs, pillows, back jacks, furry rugs, yoga mats, tables & chairs. 

All workshops and classes will be listed on our event calendar and included in our monthly newsletter of events. We offer a community rate to practitioners that offer public classes and workshops because fostering community is important to us.

Capacity for workshops will depend on the setup needed. Typically we recommend a max of 25.

Rental Packages

  • A meditation or yoga class setup in a bright room with a large gray rug on wooden floors. There are purple cushions arranged in a circle on the rug. Community Event Rates & Booking Policy

Refuge offers designated community rates to support nonprofits, community organizations, and practitioners bringing meaningful, accessible programming to our community.

Weekday Community Rate

  • Monday–Friday (Friday before 4:00 PM)

  • Available year-round, subject to availability.

  • Setup and cleanup time must be included in the total rental period.

  • Two-hour minimum rental for all weekday community bookings.

Weekend Community Rate

  • Fridays after 4:00 PM, Saturdays, and Sundays

  • Three-hour minimum rental for all weekend community bookings.

  • Setup and cleanup time must be included in the total rental period.

Weekend Availability

To preserve weekend availability for weddings, private celebrations, and other full-rate events, community bookings are subject to the following scheduling guidelines:

  • More than 30 days before the event: Community bookings are available during designated morning hours before noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Saturday afternoon and evening hours are reserved for standard-rate rentals.

  • Within 30 days of the event: Any remaining unbooked weekend hours may become available at the community rate, subject to availability.

  • Peak dates and holiday weekends: Certain high-demand dates may be excluded from community-rate availability.

Eligibility & Booking

Community rates are intended for nonprofit and community-focused gatherings, educational programming, workshops, classes, and similar offerings. They are not available for private celebrations such as weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, or other personal events.

All bookings are subject to availability and require a completed rental agreement and applicable deposit. A booking is confirmed once the required agreement and payment arrangements are complete.

Refuge reserves the right to designate dates and times for standard-rate rentals to support the sustainability of our space and our continued ability to welcome community programming.
