Radial diamond kinetics

(community dance workout) led by Hana van der Kolk

Part community ritual, part embodied imagination laboratory, part flamboyant aerobic workout, radial diamond kinetics is an ever-evolving dance class that reminds us of the wisdom of our body/mind/hearts in connection. Class includes guided practice in and out of form that awakens intimacy with breath, bone, musculature, ground, heat, rhythm/musicality, feelings, eros, imagination-centering prompts and practices as ways  to jostle/expand how we move/feel in/about our bodies, interrupt inhibition, awaken our extra-sensory capacities, and welcome our multiplicities, and dancing to/with music and looking for/inviting absorption within both structured movements and guided improvisation. For everyone.
